For use where outlets or switches are recessed back behind the drywall to keep flush with wall plate. This is an easy, inexpensive solution to an outlet that is either spongy when the plug is inserted or is recessed and lines up poorly with receptacle openings in the wall plate. Helps prevent shock, fire, or shorting due to outlet movement. Great for remodeling projects and installation of tile or paneling.
